UNIBE prepares students for a wide range of careers. Graduates from this privileged academic program, in a small medical school in Costa Rica, are enjoying great success in a variety of settings.

UNIBE offers academic programs in Medicine, Pharmacy, Psychology and Nursing and our medical program has a long record of success. The fact that UNIBE´s programs cover a wide variety of academic fields is an asset for our students, offering a thoroughness rarely found in a medical department. There are some outstanding teachers among the various disciplines who have been extremely supportive of our program over the years, and they provide our students with superb clinical training. In addition, we have always enjoyed an excellent relationship with physicians in the Costa Rican community and through them we have been able to offer our students further educational opportunities. During the four years of the academic study-plan, the students go through a number of rotations in community practices and hospitals, allowing them to become better acquainted with the realities of medical practice in the "real world".

UNIBE has established an alliance with four community hospitals in order to develop additional rural training for our students over the next few years. Between our interdisciplinary faculty and the clinical faculty members in the community, UNIBE can offer our students an incredible depth and breadth of training experiences depending on their interests and future needs.
